Arboretum Visitors are welcome year round, 7 days a week, sunrise to sunset.
Visitor Center Hours
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday — Friday
Since we are partially staffed by volunteers, please call to see if Visitor Center is closed during holidays.
Additional Visitor Center Hours
May 1 - October 15, open Saturday and Sunday 1 p.m. — 4 p.m.
Tours
Self-guided tours are welcome anytime during daylight hours. Guided tours may be arranged by calling (620) 327-8127.
Admission
Members are admitted free of charge.
Adults - $2.00 Donation

Location: The Dyck Arboretum is located at 177 West Hickory Street in Hesston, Kansas (pop. 3,000) in south central Kansas.

From the south
The Dyck Arboretum is located 35 miles north of Wichita on I-135, Exit 40. In Hesston, follow the signs to the arboretum.

From the east
From Emporia, follow Highway 50 to Walton, go 5 miles west on NW 60th Road to K-15, turn south 2 miles to Interstate I-135, go north on interstate to Hesston , Exit 40, and follow signs to the arboretum.

From Hutchinson, follow Highway 50 approximately 24 miles to Ridge Road. Turn north and follow Ridge Road about 7 miles to Hickory Street. Turn west and drive 3 blocks to the arboretum.

From Salina, follow I-135 south 50 miles to Hesston, Exit 40, and follow signs to the arboretum.
