FloraKansas Dates

The dates of FloraKansas, The Great Plains Plant Bazaar, are:

Spring - Fourth Weekend in April
Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, noon - 4:00 p.m.
Monday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The Spring Members Only sale date is:
Thursday (preceding the sale), 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Fall — Second Weekend in September
Saturday, 8:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, noon — 4:00 p.m.

The Fall Members Only sale dates are:
Thursday (preceding the sale), 4:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.
Friday (preceding the sale), 8:00 a.m. — 8:00 p.m.

Plants are sold in spring when the soil is warm and the danger of freezing is past. In fall, the plant sale is timed to allow roots to establish before frost. The sale dates also offer optimal viewing of the colors, textures and pleasing combinations of many of the arboretum's native and adaptable plants.

Note that we have Members Only sale dates for supporters of the arboretum. Members receive first pick of all plants and a 10% discount. Let us know if you'd like to become a member and join us at the sale prior to the public sale dates.
